I'm 31 weeks pregnant and I don't think I've felt certain body parts of the baby. Last night I felt a body part but not sure which part --probably a leg or arm. If the baby's head was in one position at 31 weeks, I'm sure he's not in the same place now. At least with my baby it feels like he is turning somersaults and cartwheels in there!

when my sister was pregnant with my nephew the doctor never felt for the babie's head. only at the ultrasound the saw where the babie's head was. but the doctor never felt for the babie's head. unless things have changed since 1999, doctors dont feel for the babie's head.

Ask the doctor to do all that- they like to asked questions, otherwise they assume that you understand. Ask him to find the head so you can feel it- My doc was fantastic and was keen to answer ANY questions. if they do ultrasounds at each appt then there is no real reason to feel around for appendages...

I was told that they can tell while they are doing the measurements of the baby what position they are in, also when they hear for the heartbeat. Next time you go to the dr ask him/her what position they think the baby is in . Good Luck to you

Sometimes I can feel what I think might be its head. Babies do flip though.
