No, Liberals are about 20% of the democratic party, and populists another 30% of the party, and the centrists another 40% of the party. The republicans that lost were a lot of populists republicans replaced with a D in name. Probably gonna see the libertarian, and liberals wings grow over time, and the populists ends in both republican and the democratic party decline as years go on. Bush not to blame for the economy 100% its growing, but the gains are going to investors and without a better safety net the more open trading on the markets will falter that will result in protectism that is worse for America in the long run. Inequality is acceptable socially if their a safety net to provide health care, and wage insurance to people suffering long term wage decline because of job displacement from Globalization. Provide basic health care coverage to all Americans, and wage insurance for workers whose jobs are lost to free trade. The right-wing will want free trade, but no basic safety net, no labor rights. Democrats won because republicans went too far to the right, and the republicans left are libertarian ones. The GOP will have to move to the center instead of relying on social issues to get elected all the time.

Good lord. You lost, get over it. Christ, you cant even wait until the Democratic majority is sworn in to attack them??? Dont forget that your party still owns the white house and the supreme court, so I am sure your guys will be able to prevent any real progress by the Democrats!

Sorry to disappoint you but most of the Democrats elected in the mid-terms were moderates, not liberals.

"The most frequently repeated remark about it [by conservatives] is that 'there is no such word.' There is such a word, however. "
As much as republicans want to deny authority with their own opinion, the authority on this matter is quite clear, irregardless of what you idiots think.
