I feel like an old fart already cause everything about today's youth seems pretty stupid to me. How can I embrace pop culture with a more open attitude?

Well, if you want to care about pop culture, I'd say whack yourself with a lead pipe until your IQ matches your age.

i do not know but that is pretty sad if u think todays pop culture is sad cause ur only 23 girl! u need to live a little. u sound like a very uptight person with no special personality! I think u should loosen up, try something u never have b4, if u havn't gotten drunk and poll danced in front of 50 people in a bar at 3. A.M. on a Tuesday, then go do that right now! If u havn't ran naked down the street when it's 30 degreees out and raining with people all staring at u and shouting an obscene phrase, then walk on outside, RAIN or NOT, COLD OR HOT, and DO THAT! Dont be afraid, it'll be fun! lol, have fun and maybe u wont hate the pop culture so much! Im a very vibrant kinda girl and trust me, I love the pop culture, Im 14! hahah

no.
when i was that age I stopped listening to ALL MUSIC because it made me MORE depressed than ever.
having an open attitude is a growth process and one must come to understand that wickedness exists in the heart and in the intent of the works performed. An innocent and blameless soul can enjoy Rock and roll or even comedy and even LOVE pornF!!! but still repent in faith and gain forgiveness.
Jesus said we must forgive other to be forgiven or the greater sin is upon us. This is where maturity and growth comes in. It is written that NOTHING offends God except forgetting to give THANKs. i dont know if that is pop culture philosophy or Truer words never spoken from gods lips. ?

The youthful pop way of existence of on the instant is dictated by utilising business enterprise human beings. The recording agencies. The action picture industry the television industry. The print media. no longer something spontaneous or unique springs forth. Its all contived and planned to maximise earnings by utilising making human beings experience grotesque, insignificant, and undesirable. youthful pop way of existence those days is a fabrication.

You're smart and independent, different, but in a good way. Don't feel like an old fart, there's nothing old about having good sense.

You can't it all sucks. It's all about looks now no one has talent anymore. I'm hoping people start doing some hard core drugs again so we can finally get some good music like back in the 70s.
