Cubs or the Red Sox.

like it or not the Matsuzaka bid is still by far the biggest splash in the market so far. Cubs resigned a lot of players, which is good, but hardly an improvement

Soriano or Matsuzaka - thats pretty easy, i will take the better player and the guy who and pitch, Matsuzaka.

Dodgers? lost Drew, signed Pierre to a monster deal?? I would say the Dodgers are not having a good off season.

Tigers? they are about done, got a big bat RF/DH and resigned their first baseman. They are the only team who are about done. left hand releiever and thats it.

Your right, the Cubs, because they signed the best player in Soriano- he can do just about everything. Also resigning Ramirez.
Also Wood, for only like 1 million dollars, if he is good and healthy watch out, if he gets injured again-hey it's only 1 million dollars. I'm a Dodger fan, i like Pierre and his speed, but i think they overpayed for him, and they did resign Nomar, but i kinda wanted 2 see James loney take over, that being said the Dodgers could have gone after Lee,or Zito or smidcht. But yeah, i agree with u.

Cubs so far but I believe the Angels are going to make a blockbuster trade and get a very big name power hitter (best farm system in baseball so they have options) and they already got Gary Mathews Jr. By the end of the season, the Angels will have had the best offseason.

The Cubs are having the best off-season. They're not playing.

Its funny that the Cubs are going to spend about 100 milllion dollars and still finish below .500

And the Cardinals will still kick there asses everyday of the week.

Hands down the Cubs by snagging the biggest name in the offseason this year (Soriano) and re-signing Ramirez.

That should all be killed when Pinella ruins them.

The cubs are doint an excellent job, picking up big free agents, like Soriano, and others.

i believe the cubs have had the best offseason acquistitions with alfonso soriano and with the re-signing of kerry wood look for them to be a dominant force in the NL.

Cubs. Soriano, DeRosa, Ramirez, Wood(this ones questionable although he COULD make an excellent closer), and they are chasing Lugo from the Devil Rays. Combine this with Pinellas; hiring...........Now for some pitching.

The Cubs.

They signed the best hitter on the market to play CF. They resigned their power-hitting 3B. They're also looking to add to the rotation and have resigned Kerry Wood, who they are going to use as a Closer, which gives them a very good closer for the first time in a while.
