i think if you are able to type a letter on this site or any other, you are not in labor yet or your labor is not strong enough for you to have the baby. any idea when your husband is coming home? do you have any other family members or friends you can contact to be with you or take you to the hospital if needed? you might time your contractions. keep track of when your contractions start. they will start and stop regularly if it is time for the baby to come. i'm praying for you.

No dear, it is not too early to go to the hospital. First call your doctor and see what he says and if he says to go, and you can't reach your husband, call an ambulance. Don't take any chances with you or your baby's health.

You could need to go. I would call your doctor and tell him/her your symptoms and see what they think. Does your husband have a cell phone or some way to reach him? See what your DR. says and go by that. If he thinks you should come in then you could be having a baby soon. Good luck to you.

I think you should wait until your contactions are about 5 minutes apart. Meaning when one starts count five minutes and if anorther one came already head out for the hospital. And by the way if your husbnd just left out 1 hour ago he must not be too worried about it.

You need to call your husband. Your contractions should be regular and about 6min apart before going to the hospital.

1.) Trust your Doctors opinion!

2.) Dump The Father!!! Heck, I would join you in the birth of your child if he won't!

3.) At 8 months, you will likely do fine ... but dump the ol' man (IMHO)!

4.) Why did he leave???

I would. just in case. if your husband has cell phone call him and let him know he needs to come home to take you to the hospital. its better earlier than later.
