I need a book that has the theme of Education. My teacher was very vague and continues to be very vague on what book we're supposed to be looking for exactly. If you have any idea of a book with an education theme it would be greatly accepted. If not, all I can think of is Jane Eyre or The Turn of the Screw. Anything helps. Thanks!

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is a good one. Hey, even Harry Potter fits in the category. Good luck.

Yes, Jane Eyre is good. Try also The Way of All Flesh by Samuel Butler, a great classic from just after that period; also, James Joyce's Portrait of the Artist As a Young Man from the early 20th C.

what about The Blackboard Jungle by Evan Hunter? I enjoyed that book when I was a teenager.

One title's on my mind for you, that is, "The Education of Henry Adams" by Henry Adams, it's a classic and you may read for more info from the amazon.com website below.
