yes, i've beaten it. Wasn't all too tough, but FF8 with Squall has to have one of the better FF storylines. its a great game overall, and i reccomend it. =]

I find FF8 to be one of those converstation topics you avoid like the plague, kind of like religion and politics :O
Never beat it, so can't help you there. Rinoa irritated me so much I wanted to throw the TV through a wall.
Seems like as many people love this game as those who hate it with a passion!

I beat it and i never got a diffrent weapon for my characters,it's so easy you can beat the game with the weapons from the begining of the game.

the difficulty is pretty much decided by your level.
the higher your level, the tougher it will be.
i beat it at level 14, and since i was low level, as was every monster, it wasn't hard to beat at all
