Girls (and guys for that matter) do not always take subtle hints very well. Although it is easier said then done you need to tell her how you feel. If you are tired of lying to her by making bullshit excuses then I feel that you might still have a chance as a good person. You need to be honest (not to be confused with hurtful) and tell her that you do not want to hang out with her every weekend, and tell her why. You are friends and only that, you should more then likely apologize if you have done anything unintentionally to lead her on. Life isn't always easy or fair. If you want to continue to hang out with her let her know that. But don't be unclear in your intentions. Best of luck to you.

Next time she calls and asks you to hang out just tell her that you aren't interested in hanging out anymore. The best way to do it is over the phone. Maybe tell her that you aren't going to be able to go down there and you don't want to trouble her to come to your town. If she says she will tell her not to waste her time, you'll be pretty busy. If she doesn't get the picture, just tell her as kindly as possible. She deserves to be treated nicely by the guy she likes whether or not you like her.

Let her know that while you had some fun you really want to go out by yourself for a while.

Making sure you're not rude you really don't owe her anything.

Be honest because making excuses just puts pressure on you.

tell her..it will hurt her at first. but it is better for her to hear it straight up from you rather than to figure it out through the grapevine or to finally have her put two and two together. she would be crushed then. have enough respect for her as a person to let her down as gently as you can.

Come up with your own version of "I'd really rather not, thank you." If she persists. "No, I don't think so." "No really, thanks." Followed with a quick, "Sorry, I've got to go."

And the voice has to be right: friendly, but absolutely firm.

get a friend to bail you out of it...make him tell her that you are gay...

It should work.
