He is a disgrace to the art,, you can actually lose your sense of humor watching him

Nah he's funny in that if its been 1980's kind of way, but hey, chappelle pulled it off...

It is true that Carlos Mencia can be a bad influence, especially to young viewers. The thing is, is that he is just the show host. As long as the show brings in revenue they will keep him on. To answer your question he has not been taken off, and wont likely untill the public is so fed up they stop watching the show. Or unless he quits due to insufficent salary.

His show is the top rated programming on Comedy Central! He's profane and often vulgar, but he is also very funny. You can read about other stand ups (including him) and their experiences "on the road" in a new book called "I killed"- memoirs of standups on the road. There's an interesting story about Mencia and Snoop dog in it.

I think his show is good, he's keeping it real, not faking like he likes a race. he talks about everyone
