I wouldn't.

A few reasons:
- when I was a registered independent, I actually liked him; but, then I came to realize he was a smooth talker that just knows how to play the system. I realized this after taking an online survey that matched my stance on issues with politician's stance on issues. I was shocked when it had me less matched with McCain than even Bush. I clicked on the details part where you can see where they stand... bottom line is that McCain is farther to the right than even Bush and he is such a smooth talker, that you don't realize it.
- His wife is addicted to pain killers. Now don't get me wrong. I am not crashing on ppl that suffer from addictions. I am just not comfortable with a man that didn't realize his wife was a drug addict until 1996.
- His age and the fact that he has already had cancer. I would have to definitely like his vp.

It's a possibility. There's a lot to be seen and heard before I make a commitment to any candidate right now. I'm leaning toward Hillary if they run her, but I like McCain quite a bit.

Well, maybe.

I'd be more inclined to vote for him if he had stood up for his principals and refused to allow passage of a bill that allows kinds of interrogation techniques that border on (or qualify as) torture, thereby putting out soldiers at risk of similar treatment if captured.

I'd also be more inclined to vote him if he'd adhered to his advocacy of fiscal responsibility, separation of powers between executive and legislative branches.

And of course there's the problem with him supporting a president who is not worthy of this great country.

So its depends on my options. But I used to be very fond of McCain...

He's already flip-flopping, and they are playing the videos to prove it. This once "straight" talking guy, is starting to waver.
Just what we need, another politician we can't trust!
