So he's 2 years older than me and amazingly nice and funny. But seriously, my friend would be totally cool w/ anything going on between us, that's not the problem. I just am not sure he really likes me, we hung out a lot over the summer and we still talk a lot. I'm just not sure if the relationship would work. Would it be akward?

Go ask him if he wants to hang out together sometime. If he's okay with it then hang out with him. If he's not try to let it go. If he is okay with it, try to get together with him more, maybe ask him if you can treat him to dinner for being so sweet to you all summer. On the phone or the internet, ask him if he sees you guys getting together and having a relationship. If he says yes, keep trying to get together and hang out together. If not, try to recover. Just be confident in yourself and that he likes you!

If you're not sure the relationship would work, DON'T!!!!! trust me. i know from experiance. if he liked you it would probobly be obvious by now. don't worry though, the right one will come around. :)
