We give homework to reinforce the lesson or concept that we were trying to teach during the day. Some students can only learn when they sit down at home all alone and try to work through a problem rather than having someone talking at him/her. Homework forces students to struggle through concepts that teachers are trying to instill in them.

Would you rather they gave you less, so when you got out of school you couldn't compete with those who knew more?

If you're going to a job interview and there are 200 other applicants, what do you think is going to stand out? Your looks or your intelligence?

Study hard while its being given to you- its a competitive world.

teachers give so much work for the students to learn more and know more.and answering is learning and learning is the best of studying
