High school's just OK for me right now. I met many new kind people. Some are snobby and inconsiderate. But it's not the "time of my life" for me. (I'm only a freshman lol.) I guess it's not very fun for me right now because I'm very focused/concerned on my grades. It CAN be exhilarating(sp?) only if I had found my "special group of life friends."
If you're not a senior, try sprouting and reaching out in school/your community more. By the time people are seniors, they regret not reaching out sooner so they do everything their senior year. (this is if you're not a senior).
Oh yeah, almost EVERYONE regretted not focusing more on their schoolwork, and they all paid for that later. This is my advice!
High school is what you make of it. If you just sit on your a** all day, your high school experience will end up boring.

No I didn't like high school at all. I didn't have that many friends because I am not very social so that made it difficult. I just got out of a high school a couple of years ago and have thought to myself I wish I could go back and change a few things. High School aged kids can be very mean if they come from families that have a lot of money because they feel they are superior to you.

I loved high school and I balled my eyes out when I graduated! I love learning! I joined as many clubs as I could every year. I believe in being in school all day long to absorb as much as you can. When you join the clubs you meet many new people and become very popular. It gives you wonderful experiences and memories that you will never forget. I was in the Chess Club( a good way to meet lots of guys and for them to think you are smart when you beat them at the game), the Drama Club, Forensic Club, Future Teacher's Club, the solo Pep Band Majorette, I loved that!!! I was a marching band Marjorette too!!!etc, etc, I packed in as much as I could every day was a day to look forward to enjoy. Give it a try! The snobs aren't so snobby if you are nice to them. Maybe you can be their friend. Be nice!

I came to America from England my freshman year of high school. I was the foreign-new kid. But i made friends fast. I am only a senior in high school now but I enjoy it alot. I mean yeah, there are there ups and downs but I have learned to cope. I just stay involved with sports and dance and other clubs.

High school SUCKS. Anyone who says that high school was the best part of their life is a loser. College rocks. Do anything you can to go to college. The bigger the better.

i was the new girl as a freshmen in hs. i knew nobody and so i had to go out and make friends. i joined volunteering activities, band, chorus, french club, the drama club, and ended up being the school newspaper editor senior year. no way was i popular or anything. i didnt want to be popular. that wasnt me. i didnt want to go out in the woods and drink but i found my own friends who liked things i liked. just be yourself. trust your instincts and never underestimate what your true potential is. first things first. HS can be a fun time..just do something that interests YOU and the friends and fun will follow. trust me

High school is okay. I don't love it with how hard it can be for me, but there are some times when it's fun.

Remember this. Thirty years from now, you'll be invited to come and get together with the people you know NOW. Take a good look. You might not recognize them in the future.
