Hi, have you been taking the pamprim on a empty stomach? Moving helps relieve cramps. Take a Tylenol wait a few min. then go for a walk, after that take a warm bath and try to sleep. A good night routine. Good luck!!!

Ask your OBGYN doc or family practitioner about prozac for pms and cramping. A few of my lady friends and my daughter use it and it seems to work wonders. They start taking the medicine a week before they expect to start, and the week of, and they say that it makes a world of difference. being a male, I wouldn't be able to voice an opinion ffrom experience. I hope this helps a bit. The heating pad and exercise are probably the best natural things to do to help relieve the symptoms. Good luck

If you have really bad cramps, birth control pills will help. If you don't want to go that route, try ibuprofen, it is an anti-inflamatory. A brand name for that is Advil or Motrin. A longer acting drug is naprosen/naproxen also known as Aleve. It is also an anti-inflamatory. I wouldn't know about the sick feeling, see your doctor.

I had that problem myself and I found Aleve works the best for cramps. Also, I have started using the birthcontrol pill called seasonal so I only have 4 periods a year and they are pretty light. If you can take the pill (ask your doctor) it can help with the heavy periods and cramping. Good Luck!!!!!

Scheduled ibuprofen is probably the best, meaning take it regularly as suggested on the bottle, and then it can prevent your pain from getting really bad. Naproxen is really good too, taken regularly. It may be a good idea to talk to your doctor.

This may sound silly, but an old teacher once suggested eating plenty of bananas about a week before your period, and I forget just what it is in bananas that may help, but....I suppose it's worth a shot.

I use ibuprofen... If you can get your doctor to prescribe some to you, that would be better, since OTC drugs aren't as powerful. Also, a hot pad on your lower abdomen helps.
