No because "American" isn't a race, its a nationality.

Race is European, Asian, Afro Carribean etc.

Besides I think its a bit stupid to hate the whole population of a country. I'm Welsh and can't say I go a bundle on America but I don't "hate" the whole of the country. I really dislike the American attitude (selfish, greedy, arrogant, materialistic) but then not all Americans are like that. Some are intelligent enough to see beyond what they are taught at school.

It's not racist to hate Americans, since America is made up of many races.

But how can one hate 300 million people?

I would say it's over the top, about as stupid as hating all muslims or all jews.

ALL? All those great artists, business man expanding busines around the world, creators and ruller of hugest fast food chains, priests, philosophers, innocent children with their smiles.

Are you sure that you have all this blind hate? Are your eyes blind and have you a hearth cold enough to just act as a Classic Fanatic?

Life is not made of 100%, but several layers; there is always both sides everywhere. Try to keep out of your spirit this Positivist roots, these no grey but only black and white view.

I am American, and I hate what our government does. I don't like most of the people in this country either, because they obviously elected the officials of the government. But I still have friends here and can't say I HATE everyone, especially when I've only met a very tiny percentage of them.

What basis would you use to say you hated every American, even ones you haven't met??

A usurious rip-off cheating New Yorker is different from a native American peyote smoker. Or somebody living in a log cabin in a hurricane area from a dweller in a Chicago apartment block.

I have not met many Americans, but mostly they seem OK, except they can be over arrogant and superficial, but altogether I think I have met nastier British people.

It is a different culture though, a bit shallow like their history.

yes! How can you hate all Americans? Sure some people around here are weird, crazy and a little messed up. But its not right to label people just because of there nationality.
There are a lot of good and bad everywhere.

You should love everyone, despite there nationality.
That's what I do.

Why would anyone except the mentally unbalanced hate anyone? Dislike yes but not hate,in any case I am sure the majority of Americans are ordinary decent people who just want to get on with their lives.

No. Most people I dislike are American. That's only because I know them personally and have lived here my entire life. I try not to hate, but if I'm going to hate someone it would have to be the pilots from 9/11 that hit the WTC and Pentagon as well as the PA. crash.I don't hate Muslims or Black People , I don't hate white people, Indians, Eskimo's or Oriental people. If you dislike/hate someone find a reason to Hate.Do not hate a color or race because you dislike one or many people that may fit that description. I hope I answered your question.

I don't think you know the meaning of racist. How can you hate a whole nation of people? Could it be jealousy? Only you know, I hope one day you will understand why you think that way.

It's not racism if you hate all us citizens. It is a little strange. I would never say I hate a whole group of people. I would say it is very small minded.

I think you need to educate yourself first and actually meet more Americans before you make such huge statements.
