let me start by saying i just turned 22 on thursday. i been happily married for 3years my husband turned 22 on the 5th, and this is my second time ever in life experincing the whole pregnancy thing. if im 5 weeks is my stomach supposed to be hard? i did take a test and it said neg. but last time a test said neg i had a miscarriage at 5months cause i didn't no. the first day of my last period was on 09-22-06 n i haven't seen it since! i went to the doctor and got a pap smer done n she said it was took soon to tell ! she said come back in three months!!! but she told me to take centrum vitiamins not prental i told her they make me feel sick. i dont wanna have another miscarrage!!!! :-{ i need some good advice and i failed my home test! as always i did go to the doctor! i don't have those hormones1 i never get a pos. test until like 4 or 5 months or pregnancy I jus need some good advice please!
and yes where dieing for our first child!

your doctor should have done a blood test it is not to soon to tell find yourself a new doctor for starters and then get that blood test done

You need to seek a 2nd opinion soon. I miscarried at 4months and didn't know because I too had tests that came up negative, the Dr said come back in 3months (scheduled for a Monday) and that Saturday before, I started hemorrhaging and due to a tubal pregnancy and normal periods up till then, I lost something we might have been able to save if the Dr got me in sooner or if I sought a 2nd opinion.
The stress you are experiencing in the meantime won't help your body any either so please seek a 2nd opinion and hang in there. Good luck to you both.

Find a new doc. For each of my babies I went to my doc at six weeks and had all the blood work done and know what was going on.

Talk to your doctor and tell him you want a ultrasound to detect pregnancy.
