How do I remove pastel from a wall?

I put pastels on my wall and I want to remove it. Water and elbow grease just smears it. Help!

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Got crayon off of mine without a hint of residue.

try oil cooking or infant oil. I paint in oils and that i take advantage of slightly one oil soaked rag to get the oil paint off of my palms.besides the fact that it may no longer artwork now which you have used different issues on it, that's worth a try
