I hit the afternoon slump too- I just eat something like an apple and take a quick walk outside- just a lap around the building on my break- it feels good- especially this time of year. The cold air wakes you up and it feels good to get outside and stretch after sitting at a desk all day.

That 'afternoon slump' feeling is caused by a dip in your blood sugar. Keep some snacks handy, i.e. almonds, an apple, cut-up cheese, etc. Eating every 3 hours will prevent that from happening.

Yep, a little snooze when you feel a bit tired is a good idea, I did read tho that it has to be no more than 20minutes, then it wont affect your night time sleep.Go for it ozzie!

i think a nap is a great idea. if you can't do that, go for a walk.
