I think it is ceramic maybe coated metal...anyway it has scratch marks on it from where I was trying to get something out of the drain with a metal coat hanger and it is rusty looking. How can I repair or cover this up?

Okay so i do beleive there is a patch kit for bath tubs and again depends on what the material of the tub is, but also you can paint a bath tub, did you know, so touch up paint might be all that you need. Go see Home Depot or a paint place, plus you can call a tub place. Take a picture of the tub and the mark to get better answers, from the people who can help.

It is enamel over cast steel. Home Depot has a repair kit, and instructions.
