the question is: what were three major contributions of muslim civilization?

Al-Khawarizmi invented Algebra (al Jabr); they invented the symbol for zero and made contributions in the field of mathematics.

They also introduced the Crusaders to public baths, which they brought back to the western world, along with carpets and a more refined way of life for the times.

they contributed in terms of medicine, our numerical system, much thought, and by being themselves, they taught us to see ourselves, whoever we might be. my own thoughts
