you're right if you are cool with every national then there shouldn't be anything wrong with inter-racial marriage.

I dont feel that you have any say in who your sister can marry. You can approve or disapprove but you cannot allow or disallow any of her decisions. Also get a grip and start accepting the fact that we are ALL people no matter what color skin we have or what culture we may come from. Open your mind... a little more and a whole new world will open its for you.

It depends on why you disapprove and how you would feel about her or their children if she did marry a black man. Would you disown her would you be embarrassed of her or her children? I think the focus should be on if your sister has a man that treats her right not about what color he is. But I do think that you can have love and respect for different cultures but not want your sister to marry outside of her race. I have love and respect for the gay community but I don't want my kids to be gay. But if they were I would not love them any less.

It,s difficult for me to answer your question, because I am trying to understand, the part a bout "ALLOWING", your sister to marry, any body.Where the heck are you from, that a sibling, would have to ask your permission, to marry any one ?I personally think it,s OK to marry out side of their race, religion,or color. If you disapprove of marriage between people, of different back grounds, then I suggest,.you only marry some one very like your self, but do not think you can choose, a marriage partner for your sister or anyone else!

WTH?

If would you love black culture but "not allow" your sister to marry a black man?

1. It's none of your business if she marries a black man or not so long as he treats her well.

2. You don't "allow" her to do anything. She isn't your property. Get over yourself.

3. You obviously don't love black culture or you wouldn't be so childish and closed minded about it.

True love has no barriers. You must have seen many interracial couples walking down a street oblivious to the many stares of persons passing by.

They have already passed the tests of family members, friends and co workers who tried to ""talk some sense into their heads"" .

For love is blind, and good and wholesome. And as long as love remains in the hearts of two persons who are serious about each other,, why should we try to change this?.

My sister doesn't need my permission to begin with, and neither should yours need yours. And it's also conceivable that you could love the pygmy culture, for example, yet not want to become a part of it through marriage. Everything is not determined by skin, in case you didn't know.

You can admire the ant or termite eaters without making insects a part of your diet.

i think so, cuz i personally am not a fan of interracial marriage or relationships, however i have alot of friends who are of all racial backgrounds and i love al of them and i love to learn about all the differences in the cultures, and i have a great respect for all cultures. i just don't like the racial mixing stuff.

you don't love different cultures if you have that little iddy biddy piece of racial negativity that makes you feel that your sister cannot marry interracially. And why is it your sister needs your permission to marry anyone in the first place? Maybe you should try listening to yourself. no offense intended.
peace

of course its ok to love different cultures and not like interracial marriage, as long as its your marriage - you have no right to push your beliefs on anyone else though.

Why are dark Black men more socially acceptable than dark Black women? Not true. You need to fix your own mind and stop perpetuating BS. Next.
