Yes I very much believe in ghost. I believe my dad's house is haunted. I have had my door to my room open and I am the only one home. I have seen a face in my bathroom mirror, and me and my mom have heard footsteps. It's nuts but I make believers out of people that come to my dad's house.

I saw the ghost of a little boy. I was staying in my friend's house in France (the house was four hundred years old), and one night after my friend was asleep, I saw a white face suspended over me. It was a little boy, probably about eight years old and he looked mischievous.

The next night my friend was asleep and snoring. There was a very long and solid bureau between us that was at least six feet long and very solid. We had a couple of books on it, and she had a few knick knacks on it in the middle. None of these items could have fallen off by themselves. I suddenly heard this sound almost like wind but there was no wind outside. Suddenly everything on the bureau was on the ground as if an arm had gone along the bureau and knocked everything off. I can tell you that my friend was asleep and I had not been moving, and none of those things were touching each other or on the edge of the bureau. It was very creepy!

Unfortunately, no. Nobody has ever seen a ghost. They've merely experienced something they can't explain in any other way than saying that it was a ghost.

People who are unable to sleep for several days because of an illness, for example, might hallucinate and "see" dead relatives while he is still awake. A person who didn't know it was the brain taking time out to "dream" while awake might believe that his dead relatives came back to comfort him in his illness.

Photographs of ghosts (orbs, etc.) are little more than way-out-of-focus specks of dust or other airborne particles too close to the flash and lens of the camera.

Still other photographs are merely misuse of the camera. A shaky hand can cause blurs. A person who doesn't know how to properly use the "night portait" setting on a camera might see "energy" from distant lights.

When people visit a "haunted house" they've usually been told what "ghost" is there and where. That biases the visitor--even subconciously--and the visitor will then "feel" something.

John Edward and other "psychics" who claim to talk to the dead are only skilled in an art called "Cold Reading". A major factor in a successful "Cold Reading" is the psychic tossing out very vague references ("I'm seeing water.") and the person being "read" only remembering the "hits"--the vague references the psychic got right--and forgetting the "misses".

There is always an explaination to a "ghostly experience". It's just that the person who experienced it may not know what it is other than to believe it was a ghost.

Yes, after my niece passed away in 1999 I was in my house alone and hte house was pretty dark. I got up from a nap and went toward the back of the house. I saw a figure turn the corner to a back room. I thought it was my husband, so I called to him. When I went to the back room no one was there. My husband was at a neighbor's house.

About 6 months later my mom passed away. My family got together a few days later and watched "The Perfect Storm". All the lights were out while we watched. When the movie was over and names of the dead were being called out at the end of the movie, all of a sudden a light in the back room turned on all by itself. Everyone in the house was in the same room sitting watching the movie when this happened! It was the same back room where I'd seen a ghost 6 months before.

I have not seen one, but it was definitely there. I was volunteering at a clinic where one of the Medical assistant (MA) has the ability to see and feel them (but she hates seeing them). when i first started, and as I got to know her, she told me that the clinic was hunted but I was skeptical. one morning, towards the end of my volunteering days, the MA told me that she felt that a ghost wanted to tell me something, but she didn't know what. I took it like whatevers and went back to helping the doctor. about 1.5 hours before closing time, i was on the back room (where they draw blood) looking out the window (i was bored), the doctor was out (b/c there were no patients) and all MAs were on the front room, I heard something. i immediately turned around and saw the trashcan's lid swinging back and forth. it is one of those trashcans that has a curved lid and you have to push the lid to throw something away. i looked outside the room, there was no one near, no air and i was sort of stunned. i later told that MA about it and she said "see I told you that a ghost wanted to tell you something"...maybe it wanted to say goodbye to me. I would of loved to have seen its face to formally say goodbye to him/her.
