What is your view on stem cell research.just explain this plz

since some individuals display no more intelligence than a 10-cell embryo, embryo is a human being and cannot be experimented with :)

I think that we should go ahead with it. We have hundreds of frozen embryos from fertilization treatments that are just going to be thrown out. We're never going to get rid of the fertility clinics, and I think it's far more disrespectful to destroy that life than it is to use it to heal others. Stem cell research is very promising; they've recently been able to grow human heart valves from stem cells. If we can save people by using embryos that would otherwise be destroyed, don't we have an ethical obligation to do that? I kind of see it the same way I do organ donation. If we don't use them, it goes to terrible waste as people who could be helped have to suffer and die.
