It is an interesting question. The question is do people deserve a second chance? I would like to think that she has learned from her mistakes and can move on. I would like to hope that I would be granted the same freedoms.
I do hope that they have the same standards for their employees though. It would be tough to support this if she was given a differant preferance then an employee who might have a criminal conviction.

I do not care for Marta Stewart products shows etc... However I believe she is entitled to a second chance, as is everyone. In the cse of Martha she has paid for her poor thinking and hopefuly better for it.
As for her and the public, I have heard this line:"Americans will forgive everything except success."

You live in a world of dreams my friend...just look at O.J. Simpson
acquitted by a Jury of absolute Morons...none earning more than 28 to 32 K per year and they called that a jury of his peers!
Yet his civil trial where he WAS judged by a jury of his Up-Scale Brentwood peers found him GUILTY ... AND now he has a book out on "how he 'would have' killed his wife and her friend" and they are being scooped up like Hot Cakes...
Martha Stewart ? ... is small potatoes next to that demon!
And the only media company that slammed him was FOX News !!!
Crime is rewarded it seems with fame and $$$,$$$,$$$ so wake up take a look around and go back to sleep....

Must be what they mean by "second chance" or "served her time" or "paid her debt to society" .
Hard to figure K-Mart giving Martha Stewart a second chance when all those child molesters are allowed to work and unless you know the sexual predator website they can live right next to you..................

We elected one. Bush did insider trading and made four times the amount that Martha did, his daddy just happened to be president at the time, so he didn't even get a slap on the wrist. And I like Martha's designs. You just resent her because she is a successful woman.

I wouldn't know. Since the liberals attack Wal-Mart almost on a daily basis, I do as much of my shopping there as I can.

LOL...are you kidding? They need her. Didn't they file for bankruptcy last year?
I don't think it's that big of a deal.....though she certainly has lost favour with some people, I'm sure she not too concerned....b/c she can still peddle her wares at Kmart.

They make an exception for "celebrity" felons, I guess.
