Witch hazel is a small shrub, and the oil in the bark and leaves is used to create an extract that has cleansing, soothing, and healing properties.
It can help acne, but is not very quick to heal. Since its an herbal remedy, it can take a few weeks before you may notice a significant difference.
But the best thing is it can do no harm. It won't irritate your acne, so while it might not cure it right away, it will cleanse the area and it does have antibacterial properties.

When i was using it religiously With Hazel did work for me. At first it smelled.... not bad but nothing i'd ever smelled before but once a day helped me out and still does (probably cuz of my skin type) but for my friend she needs 2-3 times a day. Anyway overall its your face if we were friends i'd flat out say "Try and see if you don't like it after a while ditch it and try something else"

I would totally go for it!!! I am an aesthetician and I know first hand that witch hazel is great for the skin. Also if you have acne try cutting out refined sugar for a while. It will help. TRUST ME!!!

it's been called a good astringent but I would treat acne by incorporating some olive oil each day into my diet and washing as often as I could with soap and water and rinsing with isopropyl
alcohol to remove oil and soap residue of course the best disinfectant for killing germs is yes you guessed soap and water .

Acne is the result of impurities and toxins in your body. When they are not removed, they go to the skin to be eliminated.

Increase your intake of daily water intake. Drink at least 8, 8oz glasses daily. This will aid your body by flushing out toxins and impurities.

if your acne is out of control, tell your dermatologist to recommend or write a prescription. clean&clear products worked for me, it stings when you apply to acne so u know it`s working. also if it`s very mild acne and you wanna go all natural, brew witch hazel tea and apply on your face
