You'll want six different Pokemon on at least level 50.

1) A fire type-Torkoal, Flareon, Blazien. If you have Charizard on your Red/Green Leaf, trade it over.
2) Water type/Ice Type-A must. I used Lapras and it was able to absorb a lot of damage because of its high defense.
3) Fighting type-One member has very strong steel types, it'll be a hard battle without a Pokemon that doesn't know any fighting moves
4) Electric/Grass-Either one will work for rock/ground/flying
5) Flying-Good aganist the fighting pokemon you will encounter
6)Psychic/Dark-To use aganist Ghost types.

Hope this helps!

Try using 6 pokemon with different types Ex. Metagross etc. Like a fire, psychic, water, grass, electric whatever pokemon who has good attack power and stats. Then use your moves wisely. I perfer an ice type pokemon facing the last person in the elite four, Drake aka. Dragon Master as of Dragon pokemon are weak against ice. The rest of the elite four just be sure you have good stats and attack moves.

If possible, try a sweeper pokemon around Level 60. That should be enough to deal with them. Pokemon like Metagross and Salamence could help too. Just be sure to bring some revives and ethers.
