Okay well for school we are doing a christmas tree project and we have to decorate it with a theme! i thought of doing a me tree like i'll put pictures up of me! do u think it is origanal and a good idea?

That is like saying Chirstmas is all about you.
I think a better idea is a Jesus Tree. Make Christmas all about him. You can put his picture and scriptures from the bible. Or if your school wont allow it try this:
How about a baby tree/photos of babies
Or a community service tree. Listing all the places in your city that help people like the Salvation Army, Toys for Tots, Mission etc.
Or you can make a WISH tree. Pictures (cut from mags) of things people want a Christmas.

I'd bet at least five other people have thought the same thing.
Something I would think is original is to do a tree tree. Perhaps put decorations of christmas trees from around the world, or even (to be so goth), put pictures of logging and the terrors done to trees in the name of the xmas holiday (or just the lumber industry as a whole).

How about a "Children of the World" tree? A me tree seems a bit self centered and may not go over that well with your classmates.

Actually the Me tree is overrated and overused; but if you can hold a cat while being a tree. Now that's creative! It's like a cat is stuck in a tree...What do you think? : )

If by "me" you mean that each participant makes ornaments of themselves, then yes, it's an excellent idea.
If by "me" you mean you and only you, no, it's a terrible idea and you should get tested for Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Yes, it is original, but you may come across as being "stuck up"... However, if it were pictures of you making silly faces and doing silly things, you may be able to pull it off!

I do not think it is a good idea. To me, it smacks of self-centeredness, ego centricity and a thick streak of vainness.
