The Book Eragon and its sequel Eldest are pretty good. I am an avid reader of all sci fi and fantasy stories.
Although After reading the Lord of the Rings over 40 times, I would say the books Christopher Paolini skimmed along most of Tolkien's ideas. which is One reason why I don't like it

Anyway.... the book Eragon in conclusion... is really good. The descriptions are so cut and clear, they from an image in your mind. There is also suspense. I mean as you read through the book, you can basically envision the whole thing as your reading. The writing quality is excellent. More towards the fifth through seventh grader reading approach though.
Hoped you will read it! It's a gr8 book!

I love that book. When I read I couldn't stop thinking about it for days on end. At first I didn't want to read it because I usually don't like books that are overly popular since they tend to be cliche , But i really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to fantasy readers especially
