Ive studied the constitution hard but i couldnt find this answer. please help.

what does the president expplain in the "State of Union Address?"

The state of the union address is a means by which the president can update congress and the populace on the current status of our country. Similar to a status report for a business.
As the name implies it id the "State of the Union" It was primarily for congress and the house, the media brought it to the public.

Article II Section 3. He (President) shall from time to time give to the Congress information of the state of the union.

Whatever the President feels is important to advise the Congress of, usually, budget, economic, foreign issues. Also, items (bills) he'd like to be considered.
