who loves mcr as much as i do???? can you please help me figure this out. is "You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison" about him being gay? Did he like Bert McCracken, or was is just a spur of the moment thing? HELP!!! Gerard is hott anyways, so your answers won't affect that. :-P

Could care less about Gerard's sexual orientation.
The song is about two guys in prison but it doesn't say "Hey, I'm gay" anywhere in it.
Bert McCracken is a freak (in my opinion). If that is what Gerard prefers, more power to him. But sheesh...he can do so much better.
My question to you....Did you know that Gerard was more than a pretty face?! He can sing too. *gasp*
A lot people on here seem to miss that when refering to MCR.

They're OK but as for the sexuality of gerard wouldn't have a clue (does it make any difference anyway) I mean the lead singer of QUEEN was bi-sexual (not gay as many people believed) and they are among the most popular bands the world has ever known (who really doesn't know a queen song honestly)

I heart My chemical romance. Gerard way isn't gay. nor is he bisexual. Gerard is just spontaneous and yea he's kissed guys before and probably will in the future but he is just having fun. I doubt that he is gay. That song is just one of the taboo topics that the band talked about on that album, same with vampires, he's not a vampire either.

Man, I LOVE Gerard Way. He is straight hun. He's had several girfriends but doesn't usually date because he claims not to be "the dating type."

My nephew played back up for this Band in Detroit and he hung out with them after at a pizza joint in town. Although I don't know the names of these guys, I do know that the lead singer went to his room and fell asleep after the concert. Nate, my nephew, says the guys, all of them were awesome and extremely nice and he wouldn't lie about that.

He is gay, he used to date the main singer off of AFI. But Gerard is awesome he is helping the fight against breast cancer. That AFI Guy's Song "Love Like Winter" is talking about him liking a guy.
