Pinto with a Starskey and Hutch strip!

I owned an orange Ford Pinto station wagon. The woman I bought it from was a Shultz fan, and she called it the Great Pumpkin. I found that out only after I had already decided to call it the Great Pumpkin!

Still, for styling, I'd probably have to go with a Gremlin (one of my favorite girl-friends, a first runner up in a local Dairy Princess contest, drove the first one I ever rode in).

Now, if you are asking about which one is most dangerous, I'd have to say the 1974 Ford Pinto Runabout. Ford fixed the problem with subsequent models, though.

I do not think that some of the people answering this question have owned either of these vehicles. I have owned both and still own a 1972 Levi Gremlin that turns 11 second runs with a factory stock engine except for the intake, headers and ignition. The Pinto was a good basic transportation car, I have seen some with the 2 liter engine and a lot of money turn some decent times in the 70s. Formula Ford still uses the same engine in their series with the cars hitting 130 mph with very good reliability.

I'd have to say Pacer

The Pinto was a death trap and the Gremlin was just plain UGLY!

I always wanted a Pacer. They were one cool looking car. I wanted the tan one with the Indian blanket seats, but by the time I could afford to buy my own car, AMC wasn't making much of anything anymore!
