Allright, your question has multiple answers perhaps.
1. If you want to delete only internet activities related files, then you use ccleaner (www.ccleaner.com). But you have to set it to delete files permanenetly. Go to options>settings>secure deletion>choose NASA(7passes). Then run the cleaner. you are done.
2. If you want to retun your computer with nothing in it, that means you have to clean up the hard drive for all files or set to fractory state. To do that the best option is to insert the OS(say windows I assume) CD and choose format to clean the hard drive. Also you can just do a fresh install with nothing in there.
3. The same hard drive cleaning can ve done by some third party softwares such as system mechanics professional(not free but you can get 30 day trial). there is option for drive scrabber. Similar programs you can get from www.download.com.
Hope it helps.

Ok listen, i'm a computer programmer from Mass. When you delete something the files are never completely removed. It saves a 'scrap' of the file in the back of the hard drive where you are unable to get to. If the government or some hacker really wanted information he could get into those files. You need to fill the disk completely and format to COMPLETELY get rid of the files.. Hope that helped

Check out the ultimate boot CD. There is an option to completely wipe (scramble) the hard drive so that no other undelete utility can get your personal information off. Link below.
When you delete, even empty trash, they CAN be found by someone who knows how to do it. You have to "wipe" it.

After deleting them go into the Recycle Bin and delete them from there. Then they are gone for good.

Get ccleaner, it deletes all internet files, and can overwrite them so they cannot be restored. Google it. It is a great freeware program.
