depends on how far along you are and what procedure they have to do to abort the baby.

There is a gruesome procedure done ONLY in late term abortions. Late term abortions are only allowed to be done if the baby has a condition that won't support life (like anacephalic....no brain) or if the mothers life is at stake. One cannot just decide to end the life of a baby once you are over 5months because pregnancy is inconvenient for the mother. Early abortions use a D&C method, where they dilate the opening into the uterus and then scrape the contents out. In a late term abortion they have to get the baby out when the mom is not in labor and thus the reason for that procedure. Just remember, do NOT judge someone who has to use any method unless you know for sure why. Most mothers are crushed emotionally to learn that their baby will not survive outside of the uterus but choose this method because it is too heart wrenching to continue the pregnancy of a dying baby. This is a tough decision to make and only a few doctors can do this. A mother carrying a normal baby CANNOT ask for an abortion in late term, EVER.

Depending on how far along you are the baby is either severly dismembered and practically pureed or - as with partial birth abortion the baby is partial born and then the brain are removed through the back of the skull and the head is indeed crushed - well, more like caves in. No matter which way it is it is horrible and sad and painful for the baby.

Do you really think it makes a difference? It is still a dead baby. Why would you care if the head gets crushed? If early enough, they just scrape out the uterus and suck the poor baby up with a vacuum like trash. Don't do it, just think about all the people who can't have children of their own, the would love this baby, ad you wouldn't have to feel horrible about it for the rest of your life. You will never forget you have done this, and it won't get easier with time, it will get harder!

There are many different ways the baby will be taken out and yes a result from the procedure can be a crushed head. It's brain can also be vacumed out. It also depends on how many months you are pregnant.

No - the embryo is simply expelled from the uterus, either through contractions, or through a procedure similar to a D&C. Most abortions are performed before the 12th week, at which point the embryo is about 3 inches long (about the size of a lime), with the head comprising about half this length.

It depends on how far along you are and what procedure you have done. And what happens during the procedure, and what you mean by crushed as the bones do not harden until late in the pregnancy.

Yes. Go to www.abort73.com and you can see actual pictures of this gruesome thing!! It's terrible what they do to baby's. In early abortions, the baby is completely torn apart, ripped to peices. In the late term abortions, they actually deliver the baby feet first. Then before the head is completely out, they cut a hole in the back of the baby's neck and rip out it's brains. That's the REALITY of it. The sick reality.........

I'm not sure what happens, but here's a question for you. If you're the one ending your pregnancy (if you're not, ask the person who is), if the answer were yes, would you still consider having an abortion? If the answer to this question makes you question what you're doing, then you shoudn't be ending your pregnancy!

Yeah really that's taking a poor innocent life. Its still a dead baby just like she said. In my opinion its just not right, because they're other options and you could make some one eleses dream come true and feel a lot better about your self too.
