It depends on what you're doing with it, what hardware it'll have to play with, and how well it's supported by the software you're using.

Hard to say...if your asking whats better for gaming then the P4 3.4 is my choice....and for multi tasking the dual core 2.8

Pentium D is better in all manners.Pentium 4 is old now....
But Intels Core2 duo is better than Pentium D.
