MySpace isn't all that important. It's sort of a hangout where people meet up with people all over the country. Getting a bunch of people on your friends list is kind of a big popularity contest. It's also a big hangout for pedophiles looking to hook up with little girls, so you should be aware of that too.

I think MySpace is stupid.
Two reasons why people go on there.
1.To chat with there friends.(why do that when they have an email?)
2.To find Boyfriends and Girlfriends in there area.
It has no purpose.They should shut it down.It is a waste of time.

I've heard that employers google for the best resumes and find folks through myspace.

I think Myspace is way overrated. I don't like it all. It's so superficial.

It's just a cool way to keep in touch with friends. It's free, why not have one. I would set your profile to PRIVATE so that you don't leave it open for all the wierdos to see.
