ok here is my question....when someone u love ie ur bf, husband or significant other makes a grammatical error be it in speech, typing or writing, do you correct them or does the love you have for them over look it?

Yes. I always correct him, he then makes fun of me about something. I then throw a little fit and start yelling at him. We then start to play fight. After that he tickles me & then we get into a wrestling match & the rest is history. Nobody learns a damn thing about grammar.
