I just found out yesterday that I am about 4 1/2 weeks prego. I already have morning sickness (all day sickness). Also, I have been getting really bad head aches and severe dry skin. I will put valeline on my face before I go to bed and I wake up with flaky, ugly skin. It burns when I wear make up and when I wash my face. I only ever use hypo alergenic and fragrent free products and they always worked fine till now. Are the bad head aches and dry skin common in the first trimester?

its common through your entire pregnancy. Its caused by hormones and the needs of the baby.

You need A LOT more water when pregnant, so drink up. And use a hypo-sensitive lotion. Fruit of the earth vitamin E lotion (you can get it at walmart) is actually really cheap, but its the best ive ever ever found. Doesnt cause break outs :)

yes its normal. your body is going through so many changes right now and your hormones are outta wack. just make sure that you are eating well enough to support you and baby. also try palmer's cocoa butter. the stuff is made specially for pregnant women. its good for stretch marks also

I had some skin issues during my first pregnacy and it had to do with my prenatal vitamin. Are you on a prenatal vitamin?

hormone's can do funny things to your body... Call your doctor, maybe they will refer you to a dermatologist.
