Well, there isn't a law against any of those groups being pres.......none of them obviously have been qualified enough or they don't want to be president. What do you suppose we do??? Put one in power as President just because???

We're slow you know. It was only forty years ago that the civil rights movement occurred.
Think about that. Forty years ago. That means any forty years old or older lived in a time when racism was still blatantly rampant. Many people still hold true to those opinions because that's what they were raised with.
There is belief that we are getting there. Barack Obama is very popular as a potential Presidential candidate right now, and many people think the only reason he is being supported is BECAUSE he's black.
And then there's Hillary, but we won't bother with her. (I'm a former Democrat, so all you Clinton lovers be quiet! I used to like her, too.)
Despite the public shame someone faces if they say racist things, there is still an undercurrent of racism running around. It'll take several generations for it to be gone completely.
So, that's probably why, so far, there's only been white Presidents.
We made a big deal out of it when a Catholic made it into office. So, give us time. :)

The reason is in fact that the Democrats would never allow it. Liberals view of women and minorities is that of victim status.
Whenever blacks and other minorities think for themselves the Democrats hate it. Look how they attack Condoleeza Rice and Colin Powell, they refer to them as house slaves because they think for themselves got to where they are today without Democrat handouts and affirmitive action.
They tell blacks and other minorities that getting an education and a profession means selling out to "whitey" and that they are incapable of achieving anything without help from, you guessed it the Democrats.
A Black or woman president may actually work against minority groups who traditionally vote Democrat as then the case can be made to do away with things like affirmitive action and other race based policies.
It's conceivable to see a Black president telling the Black community to "Grow Up!!!! A Woman president to tell women to stay at home and raise their kids properly. Each time a minority escapes the Democrat plantation we become closer to achieving true equality.
A minority President especially for the Republican party would seriously undermine support for those corrupt, handout poverty pimps the Democrats.

The old Boy's club just would not let it happen. Only a strong
white man would do. Today African American,Latino & Women
don't have enough money to compete, nor any connections
to important political backers.

There are no rules saying "only white people can be president", the requirements are you have to be an American citizen, and over 35. The choice of whose president is up to the population. And alot of the population is white. And no non-white person or female has ever attempted to run for president.

Yeah I know what you mean.
They've all been white men.
And William H Taft was the last with facial hair.
Get Condolezza Rice in office and we'll have a really big change.
Not only a women but an afro american president.
Don't let Hillary back in the White House.

Because Caucasians are the majority of voters for one but if you want a real conspiracy reason check this out -
All U.S. presidents are Master Masons. Do some research on that and check that out. It is true.
Look on the back of the Dollar Bill and see the Pyramid with the All Seeing Eye above it? There is also Latin inscriptions around it, translate them and think about it and the date written in Roman Numerals. There's more reasons then just voters.

"wit" details? There's an example why! lol I think this country has been lucky enough despite everyone wanting to be "politically correct" not to fall for anything but a white male president.
I've known no other special race or gender to be more moved with love an passion for this country.

Because this is not an African American or Latino country.
But I expect women to be elected to the highest office of this nation very soon.

Because we haven't had a decent candidate in those categories! Don't go Geraldine Ferraro on me either. She was stupid. YES, I said Stupid. I'm not a Hillary Fan , but I will give her credit. She is VERY Smart. Dangerously Smart. I won't vote for her, but I think she might pull off the upset if she runs. Obama is an idiot too. (just thought I'd slide that in there)

maybe whilst each and every person eliminates the HYPHENATED crap! the two you're an AMERICAN or you're no longer. This AFRICAN-, ITALIAN-, IRISH- mess is stupid! What once you're (like a co-worker of mine...I wrote it in my day timer some weeks in the past, this is why I surely have all of it) ITALIAN-GERMAN-BRITISH-ALGERIAN-HUNGARIA... sufficient HYPHENS for you? women folk president? women folk is plural, PRESIDENT is singular. If that offends you, good! via the way, my GRANDPARENTS/mothers and fathers/UNCLES/AUNT have been born in Finland (and that i recognize the place..do those "African-individuals" recognize what area of Africa their kinfolk come from?) and that i became born right here. i'm an AMERICAN (no longer FINNISH-AMERICAN) and my mothers and fathers, etc seen themselves individuals whilst they have been given their citizenship. plenty so as that my father fought in Germany in the U.S. military and lost an arm. My twin Uncles joined the U.S. military and fought for the liberty of the South Koreans. One became KIA, one became MIA..interior 2 weeks of the different..and that they seen themselve individuals. (USN, retired/proud Patriotic American...without hyphen)
