Umm- Yeah! Patsy Cline sang it in the 50's. She died years ago. Long before Leann Rimes was even a Thought.

LeAnn Rimes, has often been touted to be the heir to Cline's legacy because her remarkably rich, powerful vocals are quite similar to that of Cline's. In fact, Rimes has released covers of Cline's hit songs such as "Crazy" and "I Fall to Pieces", and has performed "Crazy" at the White House for George W. Bush and his wife, Laura Bush. LeAnn has also recorded the hit song "Blue", which was written for Patsy, but she had died before recording it. It has become of one Rimes's signature country songs today.

Great question....hope you like the answer.

Sorry peeps, but Patsy Cline NEVER recorded the song 'Blue'. However, it was originally written for her, she passed it over for other songs to record. FYI: Willie Nelson got his start writing hit songs for Patsy Cline! His words, her voice...lol
