The pediatricians highly recommend the flu shot for infants under 18 monthes (at least mine does). Your child may experience flu like symptoms for a couple days...that's just the body's natural way of fighting off the intruder. It's not really the flu, but the child may be achey, run a low grade fever and be grumpy. But overall, the benefits outway the cons. I'm sure your dr. will tell you this, but the first time a child gets a flu shot they will need a booster flu vaccine in one month following. Keep that little one healthy. My doc said really anyone older than 18 monthes is optional since their immune systems are stronger and they can fight off more than an infant.

I think it could cause problems for anyone. I've seen so many people have flu shots and then .. get the flu. What's the point? They're actually injecting a little of the flu into your system for the purpose of your body building up a natural immunity, however, for many it will develop into full-blown flu anyway.

Yes! Why do they put mercury in vaccinations??? Any nurses out there know why. See this webpage below for the quickest way to get over colds and flus or not get them at all. It also explains why flus are good for your health while you may be bad for your health.
If you over-eat and under-sleep, the flu is a good way to reverse that.

It can if it is like an overdose or if it is a shot like in your case, it can be harmful if the child is in perfect health and dont need it for that time, only go to a doctor and get a flu shot if the child really has a flu.

Yes!
"Truth: 69% of those vaccinated experienced some type of local reaction and 26% experienced systemic reactions.14 These reactions include “red eyes, respiratory symptoms (cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, chest tightness, and wheezing), and facial edema following influenza immunization, a cluster of symptoms now called oculo-respiratory syndrome (ORS).” According to the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) “The most frequently reported adverse event was ORS”.
More common reactions according to the PHAC include: Cough, fever, sever pain and swelling, joint and back pain, dizziness, fatigue, malaise, headache, increased sweating, and my favorite – influenza like illnesses. Remember, the flu shot can’t give you the flu, it can however give you an illness that acts and feels like the flu.23
More sever reactions include: Guillain-Barré syndrome and other symptoms of paralysis, allergic reactions including anaphylactic shock.23"

First thing you have to remember is anything is possible. Second "If it aint broke dont fix it". I am 28 I have never had a flu shot and I have never had the flu.
Proper nutrition and protected from the elements is probably your best bet against the flu.

No way! I've been having them every year since I was old enough to get them and nothing bad has happened to me. I have NEVER had the flu, either.
