Could there be complications with prescription drugs?

I am a physician. I suggest there is something in your diet that is the cause of your problem. When you begin to juggle between laxatives and stool hardeners, it is endless. You need to find what is the cause. Look at your food intake...liquids such as Coke or Beer contain sugar and an excess will cause diarrhea, but so will certain other foods. Examine your diet first. The second thing if you find nothing consistent is to see your physician. Once he determines the cause...then you can look for products....but try the diet check first.

Diarrhea can be caused by a combination of different things. Some prescription drugs do cause diarrhea. You need to determine what is causing this problem. Some ideas for herbal remedies or non toxic remedies are: drinking G'Day Melaleuca Tea, 4 to 16 ounces every hour along with Sustain Sport for energy and nutrient replacement. The probiotics in Florify have proven to be an effective treatment for diarrhea. If you are interested in obtaining any of these products, feel free to e-mail me! I hope that this helps!

usually diarrhea is caused by worms or a dairy product fed to the kitten. 6 weeks old is a pretty young kitten. Feed it less at a meal. Two or three tablespoons. Might try to burp it after too. Use only kitten food as it is made for the young kitten. My kitten will eat any thing it can find, so be careful what is left out. You have done what most people can do. If the kitten was wormed, he may have to recover from the medicine. What you described sounds like a sort-of overdose of the worm medicine. Had a kitten that ate too much one time, so remember the signs. I say keep on what you are doing, as long as the kitten improves. Otherwise, find another vet to consult.

I wouldn't mess with prescription drugs at the moment as you don't want to end up going in the other direction. I would look at what you're eating. Try cutting things from your diet to see what makes a difference. I'm very aware of what foods bung me up and what make me run, and I try to avoid having too much of any of these foods.

I use probiotics - like Kefir. It's basically strong liquid yogurt with lots of active cultures. It replenishes the "good" bacteria living in your intestinal tract. If you're very lactose intolerant - don't do this though.

Boiled rice (similar to that found in Chinese restaurants) with nothing on or in it! And no, I don't thing that it would cause any complications with prescription medicine. But to make sure, ask your doctor.

Good luck
