meet at a public place with lots of people.i am not racest. but many bad things have happened to ppl who have met online and met in private places.

I'm not sure what type of suggestions you're looking for except I would meet only in a public place since you really don't know this person. One of the best relationships in my life is someone I originally met online but I'm a bit nervous for you because I'm getting the feeling you don't know too much about this person. It's not a bad idea to bring someone with you. It's not like they can't leave if you feel comfortable.. but please, meet in a very public place.. Lots of people.

Call Me captain obvious, but have you ever came across a man on the internet who was trying to pick up a girl, and wasnt warm and polite?
Under such a controlled environment as is the internet, where you can pretend to be whoever you are, and others cant see if youre eyes are telling the truth, its too easy for someone to keep their best foot forward.
Some times it works, but many many more times its disastrous.
Id say proceed with extra extra caution unless youre the same type of gall that tosses caution to the wind in her real life.
Then again, only you know how long youve been chatting.
but if you guys have come to the next step where its time to meet, Id say its much different for a girl than it would be for a guy.
Its rather hard and unlikely for a Mrs Wonderful to lure you to her hotel room, or anywhere for that matter, and take control over a hopeless romantic male type.
However, you have to admit its much more likely and easier for a woman to fall prey to a Mr Wonderful type.
so use common sense
Meet in a very public place, and if mr wonderful objects, then he's not as much interested in you as he is to get you in a private place with him
Id say show up extra extra early so you can park and he cant see what car is yours - should it not work out.
This way if he is a psycho or it just doesnt work out, you dont leave him any persona information
Also, you could have a friend drop you off.
Ideally you should have someone watching over you, and get his license plate, and be willing ot meet you, or pick you up afterwards, or if youre really clever watch behind you to see if he follows you to your car if things dont work out.
and if things do work out, i would say best would be to have him see ou call someone and talk on the phone about him...this way if you decide you want to get more intimate, at least he knows you told someone.
Other than that, dont go to a hotel motel unles you want more than just a casual meeting.
Never accept a drink that you dont open up yourself
things like that...commons sense things that you would tell your daughter to watch out for if she was on a date with a stranger

If you meet any man on the internet, I don't care where he is from, or what color he is.........you always need to be super careful.......So therefore always meet in a public restaurant and have a guy friend sitting not too far away from you...Never go out on a date alone......not a good idea...I hear about a lot of girls/women being murdered. Luckily they told a friend about the situation and they caught the murderer......too late for her

I agree with Lbjms - meet in a public place and don't go anywhere alone with him on the first meet. Bring a friend or two with you too if you can.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend it. But, If you do go, be careful and safe by having friend(s) along and public place.

Personally I wouldn't go because many people have gotten kidnapped or sexually harrased from these kinds of things.
