First Response pregnancy test can detect pregnancy up to 5 days before your period. All others after your missed period. I do not recommend EPT because I took 4 of them (2 per box) and every singe one of them came up blank. (I am sure I didn't do it wrong) First Response worked well for me though.

These days the tests are pretty accurate from early on. I did a test 10 days after ovulation and it showed up positive. I am now 37 weeks pregnant. I know other people though even after doing a test after they skip a period it doesnt show up until they get a blood test done.. Good luck

You have to take it after you have already missed a period, so sometime soon after that is a good time to get one. If you take one before, it is a waste of money. It won't be an accurate read. Trust me, before I figured this out I wasted plenty of them. When I got pregnant with my daughter I took one and it read negative, but the next week after I had missed my period it was a positive read. Good Luck Girl!

If you've missed your period by a day and you have had unprotected sex, you need to get yourself a pregnancy test. If you take it and it turns up negative, but you still haven't gotten your period, you need to go to a clinic or your doctor. If you aren't comfortable going to your family's doctor, go to a Planned Parenthood clinic. If you're not sure of if there is one near you go to the website and you can find the closest one to you.

If you're trying to get pregnant go ahead and buy one now because you'll want one sooner or later. If you are hoping to NOT be pregnant, save your money and wait atleast one or two weeks after you expect your period.

Two weeks after the day you think you concieved. If it come sup negative and youre still not convinced take one again the first day after youre missed period. In the morning (the first pee)
