It started with Clay Aiken on Regis & Kelly, then moved over to the View when Rosie brought it up.

I am on Kelly's side because I saw the R&K episode Clay was on and agree that he was disrespectful to Kelly.

And what is your take on the whole situation?

Rosie O'Donnell is a loud mouth trouble maker. Everytime someone does not have the same point of view as her she thinks it has to do with being "gay". Kelly did not want Clay to put his hand over her mouth...what does that have to do with being "gay"?
The View needs to dump Rosie because the show has gone downhill since she started.

i dont think of clay being gay is the question. I definitely have yet to met everybody who shakes with their left hand that's the hand clay positioned over kelly's mouth. specific rosie took it alittle some distance with the homophob comments. what clay did putting his left provide up her mouth shouldn't replicate on him deliver southern while the jersery(the place kelly ripa is from) cow wont close as much as grant everybody else of venture to talk .the place is her on condition that of manners. She isnt the host of the sole instruct, she and whomever are co hosts. yet nonetheless i think of kelly ripa is stressful and havent watched the instruct on condition that i exchange right into a newborn. I dont like clay the two i in order that which you be attentive to. and that i completely indiffernt to rosie.

Yes, I didn't see the episode of 'Live' last Friday cause I was gone to a parent-teacher conference, but I heard her talk about it yesterday to Regis, and then I was watching 'the View' this morning when Rosie was talking about it and then Kelly called into the show...Rosie, just like everyone else has a right to their own view and opinion on it, but I really believe that Kelly was being sincere when she was offended because I'm sure his hands weren't 'germ-free'...he was shaking hands with the audience and then it goes on and on from there..to her it doesn't seem to me to be about his sexual preferences at all..like Rosie said it was, but Rosie took it how she did, just like someone else probably thought Kelly's response was about something else entirely..from the clips I've seen, I think Kelly handled it very well, and it's just getting all blown out of proportion like a lot of things tend to nowadays...I believe Kelly when she said that she had put the incident behind her, but I'm sure that now, it's gonna be talked about for a long time....DRAMA!...or at the very least until something else a celebrity does gets taken a different way than it was intended, and we'll probably all hear about maybe as soon as the 10 o'clock news...ha ha..well, I hope this answers it for ya...take care, peace and Happy Thanksgiving!

I too defend Kelly, but against Rosie's attack. I think Clay made a simple mistake and he was nervous and I am sure he was just trying to make himself comfortable at being a co-host. What he did was wrong by putting his hand across Kelly's mouth, because she wouldn't let him get a word in edgewise. I think he did this totally in jest and was trying to be humurous but Kelly acted shocked and paused for a while and joking back to him commented. "Hey, I don't know where that hand has been"
Then Rosie and her oh so pro gay movement she has been running for a while now, had to interfer and take some of the Regis and Kelly show and bring it over to the View. Rosie stated that what Kelly said was Homephobic and that Kelly embarassed Clay. No Rosie needs to learn is that unlike herself, Clay has never offically come out of the closet. Clay stated himself after the show that he felt great doing the show with Kelly and he didn't seem offended by Kelly at all. The only one offended and making the big comotion is Rosie. I really used to like and respect Rosie when she first had the Rosie show. But near the end when she did come out of the closet (which is fine) it took over her every being. It is all she talks about or everything has to be related to or around gays. I have nothing wrong with people being gay , most of my friends are gay and I work with several male and female gays. I just don't hear them talk about there sexual preference and refer to comments about everything being gay. Just no different than I don't go on and on about myself being straight. I think Rosie is the one who owes Kelly an apology and one to Clay who has not stated he is gay and did not want all this negative publicity as he is starting off his career.

I think she was disrepectful. She puts her hand over Regis mouth many times, and has chewed gum from guest mouths, and has licked guests chests. She wouldn't let him talk and he was just tyring to get a word in. Should have seen guest who were on the show, they looked appalled, she was supposed be talking about them, but the everytime it was always about her. Right from the start of the show she was making fun of Clay. Good for him to shut her up.

Oh yeah, picture those or any hands put across your mouth. The only thing that was wrong is that Clay should have put his hands over ROSIE'S BIG MOUTH! She is disgusting. She should get fired from the view. She had to use the gay card. Come on Rosie we know you gay. Everyday she has to say it. SO what I don't tell everyone everyday that I'm straight. Who cares what she is. She should just mind her business.

I for one was tickled pink when Star was fired from the View however just when you think it couldn't get any worse in steps Rosie.
God, how I hate that butch!!!
She just turns my stomach.
Nothing about sexual preference just her big @ss mouth.
Clay was wrong!
Kelly was well within her rights!!
Rosie needs to shut her trap!!!!!!!
I don't like Clay myself but he has never came out of the closet so I thought it was pretty funny that Rosie outed him by saying Kelly was being homophobic.
Does she know something we don't know?? LOL
Maybe he was on her Gay Cruise???ROTFLMAO!!!
I'd just like to knock the living piss out of Rosie & Clay as both grate at my nerves!!!
I used to 1/2 way like her when she 1st started her talk show but she is worse than Star Jones & that is no award. :o)

I haven't heard Rosie's take on this situation yet, but I think what Clay did was sexist IF he actually meant it. But I think what he did was kinda spontaneous and didn't have a deep meaning to it. He was probably just nervous and kinda ticked off that Kelly wasn't letting him speak.

Another "celebrity feud". Yawn. They're just making a big deal out of nothing for publicity.
