Yup, my friend Dani got pregnant before she had a period. She thought she was safe because she thought that if she didn't have a period she couldn't get pregnant. So they didn't use protection and it took her a little more time to figure out she was pregnant because there was no "missed" period to tell her. She was in her early twenties.

A period is the end result of ovulation. you ovulate (release an egg for fertalization) BEFORE you have a period, including your very first period.
Yes, anytime you have sex you can get pregnant.

doubtful but possible. a few girls will ovulate the month before the onset of menarche (her first period) but most do not ovulate until the first few menstrual cycles have gone through. If she is not ovulating then there is not chance of a baby,

Yes because you have to ovulate first before you can have a period. You never know when that may happen

It is possible because you ovulate before you get your first period. During the ovulation period, you can still get pregnant and are quite fertile.

Since you ovulate BEFORE you have your period I would have to say yes. Why take the chance?? If you are mature enough to have sex, you should be mature enough to take precautions against getting pregnant (or something else-such as a sexually transmitted disease)!!!
