I think that you were pregnant, but it didn't "take". If you continue to bleed like a typical period, then it's likely you are miscarrying. If you are still unsure, you can see your physican. Since we can find out so early that we are pregnant, we are also more likely to realize a miscarriage instead a period. I remember with my first pregnancy (in the 1980's, long before home pregnancy tests) the doctor made me wait until I missed two periods before he would even have me come in for a pregnancy test. I miscarried a few months ago, and had I not known I was pregnant from a home test, I would have thought my period was a few weeks late. My thoughts are with you.

You really need to go to the hospital or go see a doctor. It's possible that if you are pregnant you could be having a "period" or it can be a miscarriage. Get bed rest and drink plenty of water and fruit juices until you can go and see a doc. Try not to stress!!

it sounds like you are having a miscarrage, that is not a good sign go to hospital or gp. my heart aches for you, i also have had one.
if you do a preg test it will still be posative sometimes after a miscarrage due to the hormones still being in your body. dr will probably do a blood test or may just do an internal .my prayers are with you.

Blood clots are never normal. It should never be bright red blood, and it should never be a heavy flow with clots.
Go to the ER.

I would think no. I wouldn't call it a miscarriage though since it the egg barely had time to implant itself. but I guess that is heavily debated, politically and religiously charge, and really doesn't matter. hope you feel better soon and good luck.
