many dinosaurs.
much is used for abstract or uncountable nouns.
much happiness
much cheese
sometimes either will work if the noun can be countable or uncountable:
I ate too much meat.
This store sells too many meats. (what you really mean is types of meat but it is common US English to say meats.)
Also, beware of using much in the positive where a lot of is more common.
I have a lot of homework and a lot of cheese.
I don't have much (or a lot of) meat.

Current theory is that one branch of the Dinosaur family evolved into modern birds - so birds are the descendants of dinosaurs.
Other than that there is zero evidence of any surviving dinosaur species.
There are five types of reptiles, but none of them are dinosaurs. The five types are:
1 - Alligators/Crocodiles
2 - Lizards
3 - Turtles/Tortoises
4 - Snakes
5 - The Tuatara (a lizard-like animal that is in it's own category)
I hope this info was helpful!

lizzards never stop growing - my guess is if they were left long enough with no interference (hunting, decease etc) one day you would have something that looked much like a dinosaur.
there actually have been sightings and footprints found of "long neck" type dinosaurs in Africa.

The grammatically correct choice would be "MANY" if that's what you're asking for.
