It was a T.V. show back in the 70s called Dallas... it was just fiction, nobody really got shot, lol!
A character named Kristin shot him... he was a real bastard and deserved what he got.

It was Kristen who shot J.R.. She was Sue ellen's sister. Sue Ellen was J.R.'s wife who he totally treated like crap.
