I know this isn't the sympathetic answer here, but after studying anatomy for some time, I have to say that if a woman's legs DO touch at the top then she isn't in "perfect" shape.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that a woman with some curves is ugly by any stance, but think of it this way....
If it were a guy he'd be in serious pain when he walked if there wasn't some space.
Most Nutritionists include your question as a pointer when trying to describe the perfect female physique.
Fact is they aren't supposed to touch in a person who has the exact healthy amount of body fat.
So to answer the question to me healthy is still more attractive than unhealthy

Not really. If you walk with your legs far apart, then you may be considered somewhat un-ladylike, but if its just a matter of weight, then it's really no problem. Some people find that attractive. My thighs don't touch when I walk, but my knees and ankles often do. This is simply because I'm fairly thin. Nothing to worry about if you're thin. People are usually jealous if you're like that.

On some women, it can be sexy. But, as you suggest, for most it seems unhealthy.
If the legs just barely don't touch when she stands or walks, then it's probably not a bad thing, so long as she didn't get to be like that through crash dieting, bulimia, or anorexia.

When I was young (prehistoric years) girls were too skinny if their legs didn't touch at the top. today I see it all the time and even in magazines, and models on TV. So it must be the cool thing now. enjoy it.

I don't think my legs really touch when I walk, so I hope it isnt too gross. No one has ever told me it was gross, or acted discusted by it. I think I like it that way.

This has got to be one of the most silliest questions ever posed ANYWHERE. Why do we walk upright?(you'll notice I did not use the word:erect)Ever ride a horse?

no, it isn't gross or weird at all. it's perfectly normal and healthy and beautiful; especially if you are young, like a teenager or in your 20's. that is as long as it's natural and you aren't starving yourself or doing anything crazy to get that way.

I don't know actually! I haven't seen anyone walk in that way. It might be weird when i see it the first time or something like that but then I will adjust to it.
