I have two male, unneutered guinea pigs (Bob and Chip), both about 3-4 years old. Bob sometimes mounts Chip from the back and Chip always squeels (the same squeel as when they're hungry). They have been doing this ever since I got them and I asked the person I got them from if it's normal and she said yes but I want another opinion. The strange thing is that it's always Bob who mounts Chip, never the other way around. I'm guessing that Bob is the more aggressive animal and therefore sort of the dominant male. Also, I noticed that this was always happening when Chip was trying to drink from the water bottle; is it possible that Bob thinks he is invading his territory? I tried moving the water bottle to see if it changes anything.

sounds perfectly normal. Bob is the alpha and he's reminding Chip of his place in things.

I have two male bunnies, but before we realized it best to get them nuetered, they would take turns humping each other. I've never seen anything hump so fast hahaha. It's a basic, animal, instinctive drive...although I think I was a little dramatized when I first saw it :o
Anyways, we were told we only needed to get one neutered, but the one who got neutered became very grumpy, and when the other bunny tried humping his face, he bit his little hoo-dilly in half!!!!! Crazy masakistic bunnies!!!!! They're both neutered now and very happy..............the end :)

ask your self could invite infant jesus interior for a warm cup of espresso, 2 greater beneficial-potential Exedrin and a few pictures of tequila. After being kicked around like that, he in all probability needs some stable stiff beverages.

Yes it is normal they need to reproduce somehow. And if they dont have a mate they become mad and frustrated.

Ok, their to boys and they hump eachother? *Rubs chin* Perhaps you should take them to the vet, or I suggest find a female, or let them be.
